Electrical Enclosure Cooling, Heating, Climate Control & Lighting
Enclosure Cooling: Enclosure Air Conditioners, Cooling Fans, Vortex Coolers Enclosure Cooling (Air Conditioners / Cooling Fans / Vortex Coolers)
Heat inside an electrical enclosure can decrease the life expectancy of controlling units such as your PLCs, HMI operator panels, AC drives and other items. Excessive heat can cause nuisance faults from electrical and electronic components. Heat can also affect the expected performance of circuit breakers and fuses, which can cause entire systems to shut down unexpectedly.
  • Stratusâ„¢ Enclosure Air Conditioners - are closed loop enclosure A/C cooling systems that keep the ambient air outside the enclosure separate from the internal enclosure air
  • Enclosure Fans and Exhaust Grilles (WPF Series) - Enclosure cooling fans and exhaust grilles provide a high quality, economical technology for fan cooling and pressurizing of industrial enclosures
  • Enclosure Vortex Coolers (W7 Series) - Compressed air cooling is used where conventional enclosure cooling by cabinet air conditioners or heat exchangers is not possible

Enclosure Heaters & Climate Controls Enclosure Heating & Climate Controls
AutomationDirect enclosure heaters controlled with thermostats, humidistats (hygrostats) and hygrotherms protect against moisture from condensation. These PTC heaters warm the air inside enclosures, preventing water vapor from condensing on control panel components while providing the greatest possible air circulation and low energy consumption.
  • Touch-Safe Convection Heaters - utilize natural convection, which results in a circulating current of warm air
  • Fan Heaters: DIN Rail and Screw Mounted - prevent the formation of condensation and ensure an evenly distributed interior air temperature in enclosures
  • Fan Heaters: Foot Mounted - are designed as stationary units to be mounted on the bottom of the control panel enclosure
  • Tamperproof Thermostats - single and dual fixed setpoint (pre-set) thermostats. N.C. Thermostat opens on temperature rise above fixed setpoint, N.O. thermostat closes on temperature rise.
  • Adjustable Thermostats - single and dual adjustable setpoint versions available. Dual units house two separate thermostats, allowing independent control of heating, cooling or other equipment
  • Electronic Hygrostats (Humidistats)- sense the relative humidity in an enclosure and turn on a heater at the set point to help prevent the formation of condensation in the enclosure

Enclosure Lighting Enclosure Lighting
Use where illumination is needed inside an enclosure. Motion sensor versions detects the motion of the enclosure door being opened and automatically turns light on. The motion sensors do not detect movement through glass or fiberglass.
  • LED Enclosure Lighting - compact and have a very long service life due to the use of LED technology
  • Fluorescent Enclosure Lighting - available with motion sensor or ON/OFF switch and with optional holder kit can be "hand-held" for spot illumination
  • Enclosure Lighting Accessories - include AC / DC connection cables and connectors, mounting plates, light holder

Enclosure Heaters Enclosure Heaters ... New!
AutomationDirect enclosure heaters controlled with thermostats, hygrostats and hygrotherms protect against condensation. They heat the air inside enclosures, preventing water vapor from condensing on components while providing the greatest possible air circulation and low energy consumption.
  • Touch-Safe Convection Heaters (PTC Heaters)
    - Use natural convection, which results in a circulating current of warm air. The heater's design minimizes surface temperatures on the accessible side surfaces of the housing.

  • Fan Heaters, DIN Rail and Screw Mounted
    - Prevent the formation of condensation and ensure an evenly distributed interior air temperature in enclosures. The heater design minimizes side surface temperatures of the housing. The small size of these heaters makes them ideal for use in enclosures where space is at a premium.

  • Fan Heaters, Foot Mounted
    - Are designed as a stationary unit to be mounted on the bottom of the enclosure and include an integrated thermostat for temperature control.

Enclosure Climate Controls Setpoint Thermostats and Humidistats (Hygrostats) ... New!
Enclosure climate controls include fixed and adjustable setpoint thermostats, humidistats (hygrostats) and hygrotherms (dual humidistat / thermostat).
  • Tamperproof Thermostats for Enclosure Heaters, DIN Rail Mounted
    - Single and dual fixed setpoint (pre-set) tamperproof thermostats. N.O. and N.C. single thermostats, N.C. / N.O. or N.O. / N.O. dual thermostats. The N.C. thermostat opens on temperature rise above fixed setpoint, N.O. thermostat closes on temperature rise.

  • Adjustable Thermostats For Enclosure Heaters, DIN Rail Mounted
    - Adjustable single and dual setpoint thermostats with N.C. and N.O. versions available. The N.C. adjustable thermostat opens on temperature rise above setpoint. and the N.O. adjustable thermostat closes on temperature rise. Dual setpoint units house two separate thermostats, allowing independent control of heating, cooling or other equipment

  • Electronic Hygrostats (Humidistats)
    - Hygrostats sense the relative humidity in an enclosure and turn on a heater at the set point to help prevent the formation of condensation in the enclosure

  • Electronic Hygrotherms for Enclosures, DIN Rail Mounted
    - Hygrotherms sense the ambient temperature and relative air humidity and will turn a connected device ON or OFF if either the temperature is below the set point, or the humidity level is above the set point.
