HMI
Panels |
EXOR's
UniOP family of HMI panels are available in more than 50 configurations
- providing you with the flexibility to meet the requirements of
your application and your budget. UniOP HMI panels range from simple,
text displays to monochrome graphic displays to color graphic displays.
Touchscreen support is available on many units.
To
help reduce your implementation costs, more than 130 communication
drivers, allowing you to connect to a wide variety of industrial
devices, are included at no charge. And your training and support
costs will be minimized, as all units are set up with a single,
easy-to-use Windows-based configuration software package.

HMI
Configuration Software |
Building
applications for the entire UniOP family is performed with EXOR's
powerful Designer software. This easy-to-use software package minimizes
your training, development, and support costs, as your engineers
only need to learn one software package to configure all UniOP panels.
UniOP
Designer is a Microsoft Windows application that provides a flexible,
"What You See Is What You Get" (WYSIWYG) editor for building
your operator displays. Adding text, variables, graphics, touch
cells, trends, and more is intuitive and done in a friendly, interactive
environment.
Designer
comes with all of EXOR's 130+ communication drivers included at
no extra charge. The definition of PLC type and addressing is straightforward,
logical, and tightly integrated with your application.
The
Macro Editor allows you to add simple or sophisticated instruction
sequences, without any programming, and have them initiated by an
operator’s touch.
Designer's
superior Recipe capability includes full support for multi-page
recipes, includingrecipe storing and download. Further, recipe upload
allows you to capture the parameters of an "ideal" recipe
storing in the UniOP, directly from your PLC.
With
Designer's built-in Trending support, your operators have the information
that they need, in real-time, to manage the process.

Networking |
On
the factory floor, many networking technologies are used successfully.
At EXOR, we pride ourselves on our support of a wide variety of
industrial networks.
Bus
networks, such as Profibus, DeviceNet and others provide high-speed
connections to plantfloor devices.
Ethernet
is rapidly growing in use and extends the accepted standard for
networking to the factory floor.
EXOR's
UniNET provides an easy-to-implement network architecture that connects
multiple UniOP HMI panels with multiple PLCs and other devices.

HMI
Panels |
With
HMIcontrol, EXOR has expanded the power of its UniOP family of HMI
panels by embedding a fast and efficient PLC and I/O into a single,
integrated system. The PLC module is compatible with all UniOP products
with firmware 4.23 or higher.
The
local I/O option will be initially available on a few selected UniOP
products, and gradually extended. Initially, the local I/O option
is available for: CP10G-04-0050, CP11G-04-0050, CP12G-04-0050, CP13G-04-0050,
MD02R-04-0050, MD03R-02-0050, MD03R-04-0050, MKDG-06-0050 and MKDG-07-0050.
The
I/O module currently available includes 16DI, 16RO. A new module
combining both digital and analog signals is planned for release
within 2nd quarter 2000. Plug it in! The PLC module will be recognized
by the HMI and will be ready-to-run upon power up. HMIcontrol reduces
your space requirements and integration costs.
You
configure the HMI with the same, easy-to-use Windows-based configuration
software package that is used for all UniOP panels, and you develop
your control strategy with HMIcontrol is the ideal solution for
the smallest machines or as a complement to existing
control systems.
And
since HMIcontrol is part of the UniOP family, you can, if desired,
also connect to other PLCs, drives, bus systems, and more.
